Biography

Mark Baechler is an Assistant Professor at the McEwen School of Architecture (MSoA) where he teaches graduate and undergraduate architectural design studio and architectural drawing courses. His research focuses on wood furniture and architecture, as well as the history, theory and contemporary practice of architectural drawing. He holds a Bachelor of Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture professional degree from Carleton University in Ottawa. Prior to joining MSoA in 2013, he practiced architecture with the Toronto firm Teeple Architects Inc. Mark is a Registered Architect with the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA).
